How to find your Element.

What is meant by ‘finding your element’?
It is thought that we all have at least one element that we have a particular affinity with.
Some people believe that your astrological sign or zodiac dictates this element. With that, I disagree. Your sign may or may not suggest an element that you identify with, however that is not the same as having an affinity to an element.
Having an affinity, for this purpose, is the element that you have the strongest connection to, and it as well has a strong connection to you. You work best with that element, and it responds very well to you.

So how to find your element.
An easy way to recognize your element is to take a trip down memory lane. Think back to times when you have been most upset. What is your first instinct when you need to recollect yourself?
-Splash water on your face?
-Go outside and take deep cleansing breaths of air?
-Take a shower / bath / swim?
-Light candles?
-Take a walk in nature?
-Light the fireplace or fire pit?
-Sit under a big beautiful tree?
-Dig your feet into the earth?
-Climb a tree?

What is your subconscious, automatic action for calming yourself in highly emotional or traumatic situations? What element is involved in that automatic response?

Once you have determined this, you will know what element you have an affinity with. Can a person have an affinity to more then one?

Yes.
